First Anti-Aging Conference at Jefferson Will Help Physicians Guide Patients on Sound Therapies for a Longer and Healthy Life, March 27

EVENT: With the growing public interest in anti-aging therapies to extend longevity, many physicians are not equipped to comfortably advise patients about which therapies are sound medical practices and which constitute fraud.

The First Annual Jefferson Anti-Aging Symposium will attempt to address those issues by providing experts from around the country in human longevity and medical therapies to talk to physicians.

“The symposium will offer a fresh perspective on controversial treatments such as hormone modulation, caloric restriction, physical activity, wrinkle creams and dietary change, including supplementary use, with an emphasis on evidence-based medicine,” said symposium co-director Edmund Pribitkin, M.D., associate professor of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
