EVENT: Emmy award-winning composer and pianist Misha Segal will give a special concert to benefit the Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson at the conclusion of the center’s third annual educational conference: “Life After a Cancer Diagnosis.” The conference will feature breakout sessions presented by experts in the field from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital on topics such as vitamins and herbal therapies; exercise; new advances in cancer treatment; identifying and treating the late effects of cancer treatment; strategies for caregiving; and coping with cancer before age 40.
