Richard Rothman M.D., Ph.D, Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, to receive Achievement Award
in Medicine
Orthopaedic surgeon Richard Rothman, M.D., Ph.D., will receive Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s Achievement Award in
Medicine on Monday evening, Nov. 8.
The award will be presented at a Gala for Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as part of its 126th anniversary celebration.
The event will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel.
One hundred twenty-sixth anniversary dinner honorary chair is Mrs. Walter H. Annenberg. The dinner co-chairs are: Barbara
and Dr. Todd Albert, Ira Brind and Suzanne and Jim Ksansnak.
The Achievement Award in Medicine, being presented to Dr. Rothman, director of the Rothman Institute at Jefferson, and James
Edwards Professor and chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, was created to
honor an individual who has attained excellence in their profession and who has actively contributed to the growth and development
of their field.
