Cardiologist Lori Brand Frank, M.D., Joins Jefferson Heart Institute
Lori Brand Frank, M.D., has joined the Jefferson Heart Institute of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She has also been
named instructor in Medicine at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Frank graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in biology and a minor in Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania
in 1994. After receiving a doctor of medicine degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1998, where she was awarded the Annie
Simpson Pulmonary Medicine Prize and was named to the Hobart Amory Hare Honor Medical Society, Dr. Frank completed a residency
in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2001. She then completed a fellowship in cardiology at Hahnemann
University Hospital/Medical College of Pennsylvania in June, 2004, where she served as chief fellow from 2002 to 2003.
Dr. Frank is board certified in nuclear cardiology and cardiovascular disease. Her research interests include echocardiography,
nuclear cardiology and women’s cardiology.
