WHAT: Thomas Jefferson University’s Jefferson College of Health Professions Celebrates Commencement

WHEN: Tuesday, May 24, 10:30 a.m.

WHERE: Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, 260 South Broad Street, Philadelphia.

WHO:  Robert L. Barchi, MD, PhD, President of Thomas Jefferson University, will confer the students’ degrees.

Patricia A. Grady, PhD, RN, FAAN, Director of the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), will be the keynote speaker for the ceremony. She will also receive an Honorary Doctor of Science degree.

David G. Simons, MD, a 1946 graduate of Jefferson Medical College, aviation medicine specialist and myofascial pain expert, will receive an Honorary Doctor of Science degree.

DETAILS: A total of 429 students will receive a degree.  

The following degrees will be conferred:

  • Bachelor of Science degrees in Bioscience Technologies, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, PhysicalTherapy, Radiologic Sciences, Health Services Management, Health Studies
  • Master of Science degrees in Bioscience Technologies, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy
  • Selected health certificates and associate degrees through the Department of General Studies
