The Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Program, offered by Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, provides intensive outpatient treatment for individuals abusing drugs or alcohol.  There is no waiting list for the program. Patients can make an appointment for a complete evaluation by calling (215) 790-9942 or by coming to the office.

The program, located in South Philadelphia at 1021 South 21st Street, has served the community for more than 16 years and is designed to treat underlying causes that lead to continuing substance abuse.

The 12-week program is designed for people not requiring hospitalization or residential services, but who need more than once-weekly outpatient counseling, as well as people moving out of detoxification, inpatient care or rehabilitation facilities.

The program’s hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
