Colleen M. Horan, M.D., has joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

She will have an academic appointment at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and will see patients at the department’s Center City office at 834 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia.

Dr. Horan received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Boston College in 1996.  She received a doctor of medicine degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, in Syracuse, N.Y., in 2001.

She completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2005.  During her training she served as administrative chief resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Horan is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association.
