Does your mood change with the seasons?

The Light Research Program of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, is conducting a study of a light treatment for winter depression, known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

You may qualify for the study if you are at least 18 years of age and experience one or more of the following symptoms during the fall or winter months:

  • Feelings of depression and/or fatigue
  • Withdraw from social activities
  • Loss of energy and/or motivation
  • Increased need for sleep
  • Carbohydrate cravings
  • Weight gain
