To better serve patients who suffer from osteoporosis and rheumatologic conditions, the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital has moved from Ford Road to a new location on the Main Line.

In addition to learning about clinical trials for osteoporosis and arthritis, patients are offered specialized services including DEXA scans, care for lupus and scleroderma, osteoporosis prevention and treatments, and single- and dual-photon densitometry. 

The center has a nationally recognized staff of physicians including John Abruzzo, M.D., master of the American College of Rheumatology,

Chris Derk, M.D., Nora Sandorfi, M.D. and Raphael DeHoratius, M.D., a past president of the American College of Rheumatology.  

Jefferson’s Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center is located at 146 Montgomery Avenue in Bala Cynwyd.  The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  To schedule an appointment, please call (610) 664-0134 or 1-800-JEFF-NOW.
