BACKGROUND:
Since being elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in November 1996, Rep. Eachus has led a bipartisan effort
to expand PACE and PACENET for senior citizens. He is also on the forefront of healthcare reform legislation. In 2000, Rep.
Eachus was appointed as the Democratic Chairman of the House Select Committee on Pharmaceuticals and in 2004 was appointed
as Co- Chairman of the Health Excellence and Accountability Response Team (HEART).
