“Strides for Stroke” will take place along the scenic trails around the Philadelphia Museum of Art and West River Drive.

The event is named in memory of the late Howard Mazer, M.D., urologist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, who suffered a brain aneurysm in 1989 and passed away from a stroke in January of this year. Despite suffering from a brain aneurysm, he and his wife, Toby, continued in their efforts to establish the Delaware Valley Stroke Council.
