EAGLES AND JEFFERSON HOSPITAL ARE THE HEARTBEAT OF YOUR TEAM!
New program between Philadelphia’s Eagles and
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
kicks off at Jewish Community Center on February 27
Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders and team mascot SWOOP will greet guests as they arrive for free heart screenings and a visit from Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter at the joint kickoff of “Heartbeat of Our Team” on Tuesday, February 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1p.m. at the Katz Jewish Community Center, 1301 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, N.J.
“Heartbeat of Our Team” is a new, collaborative tour between the Philadelphia Eagles and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Organizations will be chosen each month to be a destination for the tour that features information about the importance of
heart health. To be considered for the tour, including free health screenings, as well as have SWOOP and a player at each
visit, a company must register via PhiladelphiaEagles.com until February 19.
Other special tour activities include raffles of autographed Eagles merchandise and photo opportunities.
Jeremiah Trotter is the official spokesperson for Jefferson University Hospital’s Heart Health Campaign. At the kickoff,
he will discuss why heart health is important to him and join Jefferson cardiologist, Dr. David Fischman, who will speak on
preventative measures for a healthy heart.
This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
