Future Jefferson Lung Center and Donors Featured in Ambler Gazette's "Citizens of the Week" Section
Jane and Leonard Korman, of Fort Washington, are the Ambler Gazette's "Citizens of the Week" for their recent generous donation to Jefferson that will create the Jefferson – Jane and Leonard Korman Lung Center. The partnership, supported by the Jane and Leonard Korman Family Foundation, will allow Jefferson to better understand lung disease through innovative research and expanded clinical programs.
In an interview with the Ambler Gazette, Leonard Korman exclaims, "Jane and I are pleased to be part of this initiative which will not only save many lives through early detection and treatment, but also improve the quality of life for so many Jefferson patients."
Jane's experience with Jefferson became more personal when she was diagnosed with lung cancer five years ago. Now healthy and cancer free, Jane says, "Jefferson has built its reputation on the quality of care it gives."
