In Vitro Fertilization Program

A key component of comprehensive fertility services at Jefferson, the IVF Program provides a tertiary level of fertility care for patients untreatable by more routine fertility therapy and who may have such conditions as significant gamete dysfunction or irreversible fallopian-tube damage. Reproductive Endocrinologists preform ovulation induction for IVF and for other reasons. Oocyte and sperm can then be allowed to fertilize naturally or the sperm can be injected directly into the oocyte.  They also offer embryo cryopreservation. In addition, Jefferson's fertility experts can now perform various oocyte micromanipulations, such as assisted egg hatching or injection of sperm into eggs. A complete egg donation program and gestational carrier program are also offered.
