General Ob/Gyn
Monica Choi, C.R.N.P., Ph.D. Dr. Choi received her B.S.N. degree from D'Youville College School of Nursing in 1968, her M.S.N. degree from the University
of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 1972, and her Ph.D. from Temple University in 1993. She is a Registered Nurse and a Certified
Registered Nurse Practitioner with almost 20 years experience in women's health care. Dr. Choi has written numerous scientific
papers and textbook chapters, and she has held academic appointments at Thomas Jefferson University, the University of Pennsylvania
and Villanova University.

Brett Worly, M.D.  Dr. Worly received his B.A. degree from Columbia University in New York and his M.D. degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2005, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism
Honor Society. He was a middle and high school teacher in the Washington, DC area before becoming a physician. He completed
his OB/GYN residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Worly has a passion for women's health care and
is especially interested in Obstetrics, menopause, family planning, minimally invasive surgery, irregular bleeding, pelvic
pain, adolescent gynecology, and sexual dysfunction. He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Jay Goldberg, M.D.
Dr. Goldberg received his B.S. degree with honors from Penn State University in 1988, and his M.D. degree from the University
of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1993. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Magee-Womens Hospital,
University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1997. Dr. Goldberg is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2000), and
is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Dr. Goldberg has also completed an NIH K30 fellowship
in human investigation and clinical pharmacology. He has received numerous academic and teaching awards. Currently, he is
an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Director, Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology,
and Director of the Jefferson Fibroid Center. Dr. Goldberg has authored more than 75 peer-reviewed scholarly publications
and book chapters, mostly in the areas of uterine fibroids, uterine fibroid embolization, myomectomy, fertility, protection
of the pelvic floor during labor, and episiotomy prevention.

Cory Mueller, CRNP, MSN Cory Mueller received a Bachelor’s of Science from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. Cory is a certified women’s
health nurse practitioner who graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing with a Master Degree in the Science of
Nursing. While in school at Vanderbilt, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.
Cory’s areas of interest include diabetes in pregnancy, sexual education programs, and family planning. She is also a member
of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.

Colleen Horan, M.D. Dr. Horan received her B.S. degree from Boston College in 1996 and her M.D. from SUNY Upstate Medical University Syracuse
in 2001. She completed her residency at Jefferson Medical College in 2005. Dr. Horan was voted resident of the year in 04/05
and served as Administrative Chief Resident. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the
American Medical Association. She is an Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, a board certified ob/gyn, and has
received numerous teaching awards and has co-authored several abstracts and publications.

Cheung K. Kim, M.D. Dr. Kim received his B.S. degree from Tufts University in 1987 and his M.D. degree from the State University of New York in
Brooklyn in 1994. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Children's Hospital of Buffalo, University of
Buffalo Health Science Center in 1998. Dr. Kim is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2002), and is a Fellow of
the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Before coming to Jefferson, Dr. Kim was in private practice in Virginia.
As a Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, his interests include; Abnormal pap smears and precancerous
lesions of the cervix, minimally invasive surgery and nutrition in pregnancy.

Dennis L. Lorell, M.D.
Dr. Lorell received his college education at New York University, graduating in 1963. He obtained his M.D. degree at State
University of New York, Syracuse in 1970, followed by internship and Obstetrics-Gynecology residency at the same institution.
He is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (1976) and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Before coming to Jefferson, Dr. Lorell practiced in New Jersey. He was Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Robert Wood
Johnson Medical School at Camden, and at different times was Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Newcomb Medical Center
and at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center. He has served on numerous hospital and HMO advisory committees, and has
received several awards for excellence in teaching. At Jefferson, Dr. Lorell is an Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics
and Gynecology, and Medical Director of the JOGA (Jefferson Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates) teaching clinic.

Dr. Abigail Wolf, M.D.
Dr. Wolf received her B.A. degree from Columbia College, New York, in 1989, and her M.D. degree from Temple University School
of Medicine in 1995. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia in 1999.
While at Pennsylvania Hospital, she was a member of the Ethics Committee. She is a Junior Fellow of the American College of
Obstetricians and Gynecologists and was boarded December 2001. At Jefferson, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department
of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
