The Center for Maternal-Fetal Health at Jefferson houses four ultrasound rooms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Highly trained, registered sonographers with experience in high-risk obstetrics perform all sonograms which are interpreted by our staff of perinatologists. Our perinatologists review the results of sonograms and ultrasound images with each patient. The final report is faxed to the referring physician the same day of the visit. A wide array of ultrasound procedures is performed in the Center, including dating, viability, growth, Level II, fetal echocardiography, fetal Doppler, biophysical profile, amniocentesis, CVS, and multi-fetal pregnancy management.
