Experience You Can Count On
Jefferson University Hospital’s otolaryngologists - head and neck surgeons perform the largest volume of sinus surgeries in the Delaware Valley – including the less-invasive, leading-edge procedure, Image-Guided, 3-D Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. This is an important fact, since research studies have documented that the most-experienced physicians deliver the highest-quality care.

We are especially proud that members of our medical staff have been cited by Philadelphia Magazine for their excellence in patient care. Our outstanding reputation has garnered for us a patient population that reaches far beyond the Delaware Valley.

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Jefferson University Hospital serves a large and varied patient community, including children, for whom we perform a large volume of tonsillectomies and ear tube placements. If your child requires surgery, you can be assured that an anesthesia team experienced in pediatrics supports our surgeons. We also work in close association with the pediatric specialists at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, a Jefferson Health System affiliate.

We offer specialized centers and programs dedicated to hearing, taste and smell disorders, reconstructive and plastic surgery, and, uniquely, the care of the professional performing or voice-over artist. For our multidisciplinary approach to head and neck cancer, we collaborate closely with Jefferson University Hospital’s Kimmel Cancer Center and Center for Integrative Medicine.
