The Jefferson Center for Pancreatic, Biliary and Related Cancers leads the fight against these difficult cancers. Our faculty and researchers use innovative approaches to advance the understanding of the basic biology of pancreatic and related cancers. These discoveries are being translated to patient care, bringing discoveries from the bench to the bedside.

New imaging techniques, improved early detection and screening of high-risk groups, and new therapies have begun to change how these tumors are defined and treated. Using a multidisciplinary approach, work is being pursued on multiple fronts to better characterize, understand, categorize, and treat pancreatic cancer.
