Dr. Gloria J. Morris is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medical Oncology of the Kimmel Cancer Center, Thomas Jefferson University
Hospital. Dr. Morris received her MD/PhD degrees in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the Medical University of South
Carolina, with thesis work in molecular biology and mechanisms of chemotherapy-induced apoptosis. She did her residency training
in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and her fellowship training in Medical Oncology at Fox Chase
Cancer Center. At TJUH, she is in clinical practice and pursues special interests in solid tumor therapeutics and disparities
research, for which she has received a Young Investigator’s Award from the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group.
