Outpatient
The outpatient service provides services for children, adolescents, their families, and caretakers. The following services are offered : comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, parent counseling and family therapy. Specific times are devoted to new intake evaluations. The service is staffed by Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residents, General Psychiatry Residents, and a psychologist. The Chief Resident oversees the assignment of new cases and coordinates the flow of patients with supervision from Dr. Rabinovich. All residents are closely supervised. A variety of clinical problems are treated including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, mood disorders, anxiety disorders(generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder), pervasive developmental disorders, and disruptive behavior disorders.
