For plain x-rays (those without dye) of the chest, bones/joints, or abdomen, you do not need an appointment in advance. These
exams are done immediately on a "walk-in" basis weekdays from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM - Noon, in the
radiology department on the third floor of the Gibbon Building, room 3350. The Gibbon Building is located between 10th and
11th Street and between Chestnut and Sansom. There are entrances on both 11th Street (the main entrance) and on 10th Street.
All other types of outpatient radiology examinations need to be scheduled in advance. See the tables below for (a) the number
to call and when to call to schedule an examination and (b) hours of operation for our different types of examinations.
