DEPARTMENT OF RADIOLOGY

Pediatric Radiology Division

Marc Keller, MD, Director

The Division of Pediatric Radiology is staffed daily by one pediatric radiologist on a rotational basis, under the auspices of the radiology department of the Alfred I. duPont Institute. Most pediatric imaging studies are routine radiographic examinations, chest and orthopedic. Fluoroscopic examinations consist of the routine upper and lower GI studies, voiding cystourethrography, and miscellaneous other procedures. Over 13,000 pediatric radiographic procedures are performed each year. In addition, approximately 3,000 pediatric and neonatal ultrasound and several hundred CT exams are performed yearly.

The formal affiliation of the Alfred I. duPont Institute, (a full service pediatric hospital) in Wilmington, Delaware, with Thomas Jefferson University, has resulted in increased involvement of the radiology residency with this excellent children's hospital.
