Through Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, the Work Fitness Program provides an array of rehabilitation services that facilitate the injured worker's return to employment as soon as safely possible. Professional services include physiatric evaluation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, vocational evaluation, psychological counseling and relaxation techniques. Additionally, the staff assesses worker capabilities and offers programs to the corporate client that foster employee health, prevent injury and disability and assist efforts to employ able workers with physical disabilities.
