REGIONAL SPINAL CORD INJURY CENTER OF THE DELAWARE VALLEY

About the Center

Spinal cord injury (SCI) most often strikes young adults in the prime of their lives, at a time when they are beginning to enjoy their independence. Regardless of their age, persons with SCI need not only medical care for their injuries, but also emotional, social, vocational and psychological rehabilitation to cope with the changes in their bodies and in their lifestyles that often result from the injury.

One of the most important decisions facing patients with SCI, their families and the healthcare professionals treating them is where to seek help. The best option is an established, reputable, model center, such as the Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center of the Delaware Valley, that offers a comprehensive system of care for the injured, along with counseling and support services for the entire family.
