Located at 146 Montgomery Ave in Bala Cynywd, Pa., the Osteoporosis Center offers prevention, diagnosis and treatment for osteoporosis and related conditions and provides multidisciplinary care coordinated with the referring physician. Specialists in orthopaedic surgery, rheumatology and endocrinologic and metabolic diseases evaluate and manage patients with, or at risk of, such conditions. Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA), quantitative CT and single- and dual-photon densitometry assist in diagnosis. Treatment may include dietary consultation and medical and physical therapy.
