Commuter Services

According to our employees, Jefferson’s Commuter Services Offices is one of Jefferson’s best benefits. Whether you drive or take public transportation to work, the Commuter Services Office is here to help make the commute easier and less expensive. These benefits include:

  • A low-cost ($2.50/day), remote parking lot with door-to-door shuttle service.

  • Payroll deduction of the remote parking fee, deducted on a pre-tax basis.

  • Reduced-cost, daily parking passes (available on a limited basis).

  • A payroll deduction program that pays for public transportation on a pre-tax basis available for employees who use SEPTA tokens, trail passes, train tickets and PATCO (New Jersey transit) tickets.

  • The advantage of pre-tax, payroll deduction for transportation costs allows Jefferson employees to save in two ways. First, you save because Jefferson passes on its group purchase savings and secondly, you save because deductions that occur on a pre-tax basis further reduces the cost to you.
