We strongly believe that teaching is an important role for today’s pharmacist. We encourage all of our pharmacists and pharmacy residents to serve as role models in the clinical education process and to participate in various levels of didactic instruction. The department is also committed to educating preceptors and providing opportunities for preceptor development. Through our strong affiliation with the Jefferson School of Pharmacy (JSP), University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP), and the Temple University School of Pharmacy, our staff has the opportunity to instruct numerous doctor of pharmacy students each year. In addition, many members of the department maintain adjunct faculty appointments at JSP, USP, and at Temple University’s School of Pharmacy. The Jefferson Pharmacy Department's Residency Program has a longstanding history of training professional leaders. Click here to learn more about our Residency Opportunites. |
