Meet Our Pharmacists Linda Linda began her career in Jefferson's Pharmacy Department in 1987. "I first started working here as a pharmacy student and never left," she says. Linda first interned with the department and then completed a graduate internship. After that, she accepted a position as an oncology pharmacist, then as a "float" pharmacist in the Hospital's main pharmacy. Today, Linda is one of the department's Investigational Drug Service (IDS) Pharmacists, supervising the review of the clinical drug studies offered to Jefferson patients. In her position, Linda and other members of the IDS make sure that all clinical drug studies are conducted in accordance with federal regulations and institutional review board policies and procedures. A native of South Philadelphia, Linda attended the University of the Sciences (formerly the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science), where she earned both her bachelor's degree and her PharmD. |
