Meet Our Pharmacists Mark Growing up in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Mark hadn't considered pharmacy as a career choice until his sister went to pharmacy school. He then decided to go to pharmacy school himself."“It seemed like a career with a lot of options," Mark explains. He enrolled in the University of the Sciences (formerly the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science) and graduated with a BS, PharmD. He then completed a specialty residency in transplantation and immunology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Mark was hired when the Pharmacy Department was looking for a specialist in transplant surgery pharmacy. He's now been here for more than eight years, working as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with the Interdisciplinary Transplant team. In addition, Mark precepts pharmacy students and residents on the solid organ transplant service. |
