Working in the Cardiovascular/ Interventional Radiology (CVIR) Division "Since the 1980s, interventional radiology has continued to develop to the point that everything is digital. We no longer use film. Procedures used to involve a technologist doing a ‘run' with a suitcase full of films to develop. Now everything is digitized so it is immediate. The physician can see the results, make a decision and continue with the procedure. Here at Jefferson, we've kept up with the pace of these changes. All of our equipment is state-of-the art."
Linda, Radiology Nurse,
