Jefferson's Surgical Center provides a modern and attractive facility to serve the increasing number of patients undergoing surgery on an outpatient basis. Located in the Medical Office Building, the center accommodates a full range of surgical specialties in its four operating rooms. Patients and surgeons benefit from the personalized approach of the Center's staff and the medical backup of Jefferson's full medical center. The center supplies a fourth option to Jefferson's Surgical Program, which also includes the Short Procedure Unit for medical and more complex outpatient procedures, Surgery Day of Admissions for elective surgery requiring only a postoperative stay and inpatient surgery for major surgical care requiring prior inpatient workup.
