CancerCARE Support and Education Programs

Gibbon Surgical Society - May 2008 Four members of the Gibbon Surgical Society at Jefferson Medical College visited with 5th grade students at Wissahickon Charter School. They showed the students pathology slides representing squamous cell ca of the lung (to teach the kids not to smoke), cirrhosis (not to drink), atherosclerosis and colon cancer (to eat a good diet), and melanoma (stay out of the sun!).
