Bile Duct Drainage & Repair
When the bile duct becomes blocked, narrows or is injured, surgery may be necessary. Members of the Jefferson Liver Transplantation and Surgery Team can perform a procedure called a “hepaticojejunostomy,” that can re-establish the flow of bile through the biliary tree.
