About Dr. Francos
Dr. Francos is Associate Director of the Division of Nephrology of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Clinical Professor of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University where he is also Director of the Nephrology Fellowship Program.

Dr. Francos is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Artificial Internal Organs, International Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, American Society of Transplant Physicians, and American Society of Hypertension. 

In addition, Dr. Francos is Series Program Director, National Kidney Foundation of the Delaware Valley’s Inner-City Renal Rounds, a continuing medical education program program. He is also Faculty Advisor to the Medical Education Committee of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Kidney Foundation.

His ongong research projects involve steroid withdrawal in renal transplant patients, low-dose steroid use in transplant patients with chronic rejection, and the management of patients with chronic renal transplant dysfunction.
