Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

DIVISION OF VASCULAR AND ENDOVASCULAR SURGERY

Paul J. DiMuzio, MD
Director, Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery

Jefferson's Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery provides a full range of services in treating arterial and venous disorders.

Working with Jefferson's neurologists, division vascular surgeons have established a highly successful cerebrovascular reconstruction program, including traditional surgery and carotid stenting.

The staff provides all types of treatment for aortic aneurysms, again including both surgical and endovascular repairs, as well as stenting of renal and visceral vessels.

The specialists routinely perform lower-extremity arterial reconstructions using the latest surgical techniques and minimally invasive technology such as angioplasty, stenting, cryoplasty and atherectomy.

Treatments offered for venous disorders include varicosity excisions, sclerotherapy, and minimally-invasive treatment for venous reflux.
