Colorectal Cancer - The facts can save lives.
CME Information from Jefferson Medical College:

Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits are available to physicians who sign up by clicking here for the simulcast of "Colorectal Cancer - The facts can save lives" via the Internet. Viewers will be able to ask questions online as well. A replay version of the procedure will be available for viewing at this site beginning June 10.

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  1. List screening guidelines for both average and high risk individuals.
  2. Discuss the criteria to initiate a search for colon cancer high risk mutations and how to refer these individuals for evaluation.
  3. Describe the various screening options with their risks and benefits to their patients.
  4. Describe trends in treatment for colorectal cancer.
